Feels like it’s midway between modern and traditional. Restrained, borderline austere nose of violets, ripe cherry, eucalyptus and warm leather. Definitely more modern in flavor than the nose, but not excessively. For the price, I could think of at least half a dozen better alternatives (Sassetti Livio, Talenti, Baricci, Costanti, etc.).
