||Name:||Pieluni Riserva Montepulciano d'Abruzzo|
|Region:||Italy / Abruzzo|
Feels more friendly than the ‘7, albeit still needs plenty of time to breathe. Deep raspberry, sweet and sour. Heavy aftertaste of high quality dark bitter chocolate. Tannins trump acidity by far, making the food pairing a little complicated. A lean stew, perhaps? Overall, I’d like to start drinking it at 1-12 years of age at least.
