What a pleasant surprise! Not only it’s alive, but thriving. Uncanny balance, animal notes and dominance of fresh/ cooked cherry and red berries. Only slight hints of pruned fruit. Fantastic example of Radda’s delights.

Good example of a moderately-modern Chianti. Levels of extraction flirt with the masses, but there’s enough traditional character in the nose, contained fruit attack and the nicely composed finish showing signs of a proper backbone. Neither cheap, nor in its sweet spot yet, but given an opportunity to retry it in a few years- would gladly accept.
