||Name:||Lafoa Cabernet Sauvignon|
|Region:||Italy / Trentino-Alto Adige|
Well aged, perhaps past its prime. Accessible from the first pour, but lacks wisdom of age. As it predictably arrives with aeration, the acidity drops off. Not completely, but enough to wonder if the wine perhaps is slowly fading out or if fell victim to all that small French oak. However, tannins are nicely intact and the nose is full of green pepper, juicy berries and chocolaty/leathery stories. Enjoyable, but uninspired and incomplete.
